Welcome to TaxiStand.in. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the TaxiStand.in website, mobile applications (if applicable), booking services and related travel services.
TaxiStand.in is operated by Sopra Travel Technology LLP, a business registered under the laws of India, having its registered office at Sopra Travel Technology LLP, India. In these Terms & Conditions, “TaxiStand.in”, “TaxiStand”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the operating business. “You”, “your” and “traveller” refer to any individual or entity accessing our platform or using our services.
By accessing our website, requesting a booking or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to the terms applicable to your booking.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not proceed with a booking.
TaxiStand.in is a travel platform intended to help customers discover, compare, arrange and book travel-related services, subject to availability. Depending on the services offered at the time of booking, these may include:
Certain services may be provided directly by TaxiStand.in, while others may be supplied, operated or fulfilled by independent airlines, hotels, transport operators, tour operators, destination service providers and other third-party suppliers (“Service Providers”).
The specific role of TaxiStand.in in each transaction will depend on the service purchased and the booking confirmation issued to you.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a booking. If you book on behalf of another traveller, a family, a group or an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to make the booking and accept these Terms & Conditions on their behalf.
You agree to:
You are responsible for errors arising from incorrect information supplied by you, subject to any correction rights or remedies available under applicable law and the relevant supplier's rules.
A booking request or payment initiation does not, by itself, guarantee that a travel service has been confirmed.
A booking will ordinarily be considered confirmed when the relevant Service Provider has accepted the reservation and TaxiStand.in, or the applicable supplier, has issued a valid booking confirmation, ticket, voucher or equivalent confirmation document.
Before confirmation, availability and prices may change. If a requested service becomes unavailable, we may contact you with available alternatives or arrange a refund of amounts received for the unconfirmed service, as applicable.
You should carefully check your confirmation documents, including:
Please contact us promptly if you identify a material error in your confirmation.
Prices displayed on TaxiStand.in are based on the information and availability provided by the relevant Service Provider and the applicable booking conditions at the time of quotation.
The final amount payable will be shown during the booking process or communicated before payment. Depending on the service, it may include the base fare or service price, taxes, supplier charges, platform service fees and other disclosed charges.
Certain expenses may not be included in the displayed price, such as baggage fees, meals, hotel deposits, local taxes, resort fees, tolls, parking, additional waiting time, optional activities or other services not expressly included in your booking.
You agree to pay the total amount displayed or otherwise agreed for your booking through the payment methods made available by TaxiStand.in.
Bookings may be subject to the following:
If a manifest pricing, technical or processing error occurs, we will review the circumstances and communicate the available lawful options. We will not treat an error as automatically cancelling a confirmed booking where applicable law or the supplier's binding obligations require otherwise.
Airlines, hotels, cab operators, transfer companies, tour operators and other independent suppliers may establish the operational rules and conditions applicable to their services.
These may include eligibility requirements, baggage allowances, check-in times, identification requirements, cancellation penalties, amendment restrictions, safety requirements and service-specific limitations.
Where applicable, the relevant supplier's conditions will be presented or made available during the booking process and will form part of the conditions governing that service. If these Terms & Conditions and a specific booking condition conflict, the specific booking condition will apply to that service to the extent permitted by law.
TaxiStand.in will use reasonable efforts to provide accurate booking information, communicate relevant supplier conditions and assist with booking-related queries. The responsibility for operating a flight, providing a hotel room or performing a transport or tour service will generally rest with the relevant provider, subject to applicable law and any separate obligations undertaken by TaxiStand.in.
Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that TaxiStand.in may have under applicable law for its own acts, omissions, representations, payment handling or booking services.
Flight bookings are subject to the applicable airline's fare rules, conditions of carriage, ticketing requirements and operational policies.
You must provide passenger names and other requested information accurately. Name corrections, passenger substitutions and ticket transfers may be restricted or prohibited by the airline.
Any permitted correction may involve airline charges, fare differences or administrative fees disclosed before the correction is processed.
Airlines may change flight schedules, routes, aircraft, departure times or other operational arrangements, or cancel flights for operational, safety, weather or other reasons.
If an airline changes or cancels a flight, available options may include rebooking, rescheduling, a credit or a refund, depending on the airline's rules and applicable law.
TaxiStand.in will provide reasonable booking assistance where the ticket was booked through our platform. The final resolution may depend on airline approval, ticket conditions and applicable passenger rights.
You are responsible for arriving at the airport on time, completing check-in and security procedures, and carrying valid identification, tickets, visas and other required documents.
Failure to check in on time, arrive at the boarding gate, satisfy airline requirements or comply with travel-document rules may result in denied boarding or a no-show classification.
Baggage allowances, excess-baggage charges, seat selection, meals, special assistance and other optional services are governed by the relevant airline's conditions and the specific fare purchased.
Please verify these details before travelling.
If you miss a flight or fail to use a ticketed segment, the airline may apply its no-show policy, cancel subsequent segments or restrict refunds.
Contact TaxiStand.in or the airline as soon as possible if you expect to miss a flight. Refunds or amendments will depend on the applicable fare rules and legal requirements.
Hotel reservations are subject to the property's booking conditions, availability, occupancy rules, check-in and check-out times, identification requirements and cancellation policy.
You are responsible for reviewing the following before confirmation:
A hotel may require a security deposit or payment for incidental expenses. Such amounts may be collected directly by the property where disclosed or required by its conditions.
Special requests, including early check-in, late check-out, connecting rooms, specific views, accessibility requirements and additional beds, are subject to property confirmation and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
If a property cannot honour a confirmed reservation, TaxiStand.in will reasonably assist in communicating with the property and exploring available alternatives or remedies under the applicable booking conditions and law.
Cab, transfer and other ground-transport services are subject to the relevant operator's booking conditions, service area, vehicle availability, safety requirements and local regulations.
You must provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates, times, passenger numbers and contact details.
Please check your confirmation for driver contact instructions, meeting points, pickup windows, vehicle details and any instructions specific to airports, railway stations, hotels or other locations.
Waiting-time allowances and additional charges, if any, will be determined by the conditions displayed or communicated for the relevant booking.
Traffic, weather, road closures, flight delays, access restrictions and other operational circumstances may affect pickup times. If your flight or arrival time changes, notify the applicable contact or TaxiStand.in as soon as reasonably possible.
Passengers must comply with applicable transport laws, operator safety instructions and reasonable driver directions. Passengers must not engage in abusive, threatening, illegal or unsafe conduct.
Additional charges for damage, excessive cleaning, unauthorised route changes, extra stops, tolls or other services will apply only where permitted and properly disclosed or otherwise lawfully recoverable.
If the originally assigned vehicle or operator becomes unavailable, the provider may offer a reasonable substitute, subject to the booking terms and applicable law. Material changes affecting the booked service should be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Holiday packages, sightseeing, pilgrimage tours and other travel experiences may be supplied directly by TaxiStand.in or arranged through independent tour operators and destination service providers.
Each package may have a specific itinerary, price, inclusion list, exclusion list, payment schedule, cancellation policy and minimum participation requirement. These details will be provided with the relevant offer or booking confirmation.
Unless expressly included, package prices may exclude personal expenses, meals, entry tickets, guide services, special permits, travel insurance, tips, local transport, optional excursions or other incidental costs.
Itineraries may need to be adjusted because of weather, road conditions, local restrictions, religious events, supplier availability, safety considerations or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Where a material change occurs, we will use reasonable efforts to communicate the change and explain available options under the applicable booking conditions and law.
For pilgrimage travel, travellers should consider physical accessibility, walking distances, weather, altitude, local customs, dress requirements, temple or site entry rules and the needs of children, elderly travellers or persons requiring assistance.
You should disclose relevant accessibility or special assistance requirements before booking so that feasibility can be checked. A request is not guaranteed unless confirmed.
Where a package is sold as a combined or organised travel product, any additional statutory obligations applicable to that arrangement will continue to apply. These Terms & Conditions do not remove rights that travellers may have under applicable package-travel, consumer-protection or other laws.
Cancellation and amendment rights vary by service, supplier, fare, accommodation rate, package and booking conditions. The applicable policy should be reviewed before payment.
If you request a cancellation, the amount refundable will be calculated in accordance with the applicable supplier's rules, the specific booking conditions and applicable law.
Depending on the booking, deductions may include supplier cancellation charges, non-refundable components and platform service fees that were clearly disclosed and lawfully applicable.
A booking described as non-refundable may be subject to limited exceptions required by law or expressly provided by the supplier.
Changes to names, dates, routes, destinations, passenger counts, room types, vehicle arrangements or package itineraries are subject to availability and the relevant provider's rules.
An amendment may involve a fare difference, revised supplier price, amendment charge or other disclosed fee. We will communicate applicable costs and seek your approval before processing a chargeable amendment, where practicable.
If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed service, available remedies may include rebooking, an alternative service or a refund, depending on the circumstances, supplier conditions and applicable law.
Where TaxiStand.in receives funds for a service that is not delivered, we will take reasonable steps to arrange the refund or other applicable remedy.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by the payment provider or applicable law.
The time required for a refund may depend on the supplier, payment gateway, bank, card issuer or other payment intermediary. We will communicate relevant updates where reasonably practicable.
If a supplier must first approve or fund a refund, processing may take longer than a direct platform refund. This does not remove any mandatory refund deadline or consumer right that applies under law.
If you use only part of a booking, miss a service, leave a trip early or choose not to use an included component, a refund will depend on the applicable booking conditions and law.
Please contact us promptly if a service is not delivered as confirmed or if you experience a material problem during your trip.
For a cancellation or refund request, please provide your booking reference, traveller name, service details and reason for the request through our published customer-service channels.
We will communicate the applicable process and any known deductions or dependencies relevant to your request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you and all travellers have valid passports, visas, permits, identification, vaccinations or other documents required for your journey.
For international travel, requirements may vary by nationality, destination, transit country, length of stay, purpose of travel and immigration status.
TaxiStand.in does not guarantee that a traveller will be granted a visa, entry, transit permission or boarding approval. Final decisions rest with the relevant authorities, airlines and border agencies.
Please verify current requirements with official government sources, embassies, consulates, airlines and other relevant authorities before departure.
If you are denied boarding, transit or entry because you lack the required documents or do not meet the applicable conditions, you may be responsible for resulting costs, subject to the applicable supplier rules and law.
TaxiStand.in may make travel services available to customers located in India and other countries, subject to service availability and applicable legal restrictions.
Prices may be displayed or charged in Indian Rupees or another supported currency. If your bank or payment provider converts a transaction into another currency, the exchange rate, conversion fee and final amount charged may differ from the displayed amount.
You are responsible for checking any currency conversion, foreign transaction fee or card issuer charge that may apply.
International customers must ensure that their payment method is authorised for the transaction and that their booking information is accurate.
Services performed in another country may be subject to local laws, supplier conditions, taxes, consumer rights and regulatory requirements. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable law.
Travel insurance is not automatically included in a booking unless the booking details expressly state otherwise.
We encourage travellers to consider appropriate insurance for medical expenses, trip cancellation, travel disruption, baggage loss, personal liability and other relevant risks.
If an insurance product is offered through TaxiStand.in or a partner, its coverage, exclusions, eligibility, claims procedure and other conditions will be governed by the relevant insurance policy and insurer's documentation.
TaxiStand.in does not guarantee that an insurance claim will be accepted or paid.
We aim to assist customers with booking information, amendments, cancellations, refunds and service-related questions.

You may use the platform for personal, lawful travel planning and booking purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected content without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
Third-party names, trademarks, logos, photographs and service descriptions remain the property of their respective owners.
Your use of TaxiStand.in is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, stored, shared and protected.
To complete bookings, we may need to share relevant information with airlines, hotels, transport operators, tour providers, payment processors, technology providers, customer-support providers and other parties involved in fulfilling your booking.
We will handle personal information in accordance with the applicable privacy and data-protection requirements and our published Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy before providing personal information or making a booking.
TaxiStand.in will perform its own booking and platform obligations with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.
Where a travel service is operated by an independent Service Provider, that provider is generally responsible for the actual operation and delivery of its service, subject to applicable law and any additional commitments made by TaxiStand.in.
To the extent permitted by law, TaxiStand.in is not responsible for losses caused solely by matters outside its reasonable control, including supplier operational decisions, weather, traffic, government restrictions, strikes, security events or third-party system failures, provided this clause does not exclude responsibility for our own breach, negligence, misrepresentation or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other statutory liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to the foregoing, any legally permissible limitation of liability will be assessed in light of the specific booking, the nature of the loss, the role of TaxiStand.in and applicable law.
Customers should notify us promptly of a booking-related problem so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, assist with available remedies.
A party will not be treated as being in breach solely because performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, war, strikes, infrastructure failures or major transport disruptions.
The affected party should take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and communicate material changes where practicable.
This clause does not remove any refund, cancellation, assistance or other obligation that applies under the relevant booking conditions or mandatory law.
TaxiStand.in may contain links to third-party websites, supplier portals, maps, payment services or other external resources.
Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, security arrangements and operational conditions. You should review the relevant terms before using an external service.
A link does not, by itself, mean that TaxiStand.in endorses or controls the external website or service.
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our services, supplier arrangements, technology, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
Changes will generally apply prospectively. A material change will not retrospectively remove rights or alter the agreed terms of a completed booking where doing so is not permitted by law. The terms applicable to a particular booking will be determined with reference to the booking confirmation, applicable supplier conditions and relevant legal requirements.
Please review this page periodically.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other legal provisions that apply to a particular transaction.
The parties should first attempt to resolve a booking-related dispute through TaxiStand.in's customer-support and grievance-redressal process.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court, consumer commission or other competent forum in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from exercising a mandatory statutory right to approach a competent authority or forum, including where applicable the forum available under consumer-protection law.
For customers outside India, any mandatory protections or jurisdictional rules that apply under the law governing their transaction will not be displaced merely by this clause.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.
These Terms & Conditions, together with the relevant booking confirmation, service-specific conditions and applicable policies, describe the terms governing your use of TaxiStand.in and the relevant booking.
Where a separate written agreement expressly applies to a specific service, that agreement will govern to the extent of any inconsistency, subject to applicable law.
